The Injured Body is a feature length documentary directed and produced by Mara Ahmed. It examines racism through the lens of microaggressions: slights, slips of the tongue, and offenses that accumulate over a lifetime and impede a person’s ability to function and thrive in the world. Cinematography by Rajesh Barnabas.

This is a live action drama, shot and edited in 72 hour experimental film festival entry. I worked with a team of 4 creators and artists to produce this short film.
